- On-site emergency service (Business tier)

Your Data, Your Responsibility
Let's be real: backups are your safety net, not your only copy. We strongly recommend following the 3-2-1 backup rule:
- 3 copies of your data
- 2 different storage types
- 1 offsite (that's us!)
We do everything we can to protect your data, but you should always have other copies of truly critical files.
How We Protect Your Data
- Encryption in transit (TLS) — your data is encrypted while being transferred
- RAID redundancy (RAIDZ2) — we can survive 2 drive failures without losing data
- Weekly integrity checks — we automatically verify your backups aren't corrupted
- Enterprise hardware — we use the same drives data centers use
- UPS protection — power outages won't crash our systems
What We Can't Access
Your backup data is yours. We don't snoop through your files, sell your data, or share it with anyone. We only access your account information to provide support when you ask for it.
Payment & Billing
- Monthly billing — charged on the same date each month
- Auto-renewal — your subscription continues until you cancel
- Payment methods — Credit card, PayPal, or ACH bank transfer
- Annual discount — Pay yearly and get 2 months free (16% off)
If a Payment Fails
Life happens. Here's how we handle it:
- Day 1–7: Grace period, everything keeps working
- Day 8: We'll send you a friendly reminder
- Day 14: Backups pause (but your data is safe)
- Day 30: Account closed, data deleted

Cancellation
- Cancel anytime — no questions asked, no cancellation fees
- Access continues through the end of your billing period
- Data retained 30 days after cancellation
- Reactivate within 30 days without losing your backups

The Legal Stuff
Limitation of Liability
Here's the honest truth: while we do everything possible to protect your data, no backup system is 100% foolproof. Drives can fail, disasters can happen, and sometimes things go wrong despite our best efforts.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the last 12 months
- We are not liable for data loss beyond refunding your fees
- We are not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages
- You are responsible for maintaining your own primary copies of important data
This isn't us trying to dodge responsibility — it's just being realistic about what a backup service can guarantee. That's why we always recommend having multiple backup copies.
Service Availability
We aim for 99%+ uptime, but we're a small operation and sometimes maintenance is needed. We'll always try to give you advance notice for planned downtime.
We're not responsible for outages caused by:
- Internet service provider issues
- Power outages beyond our UPS capacity
- Natural disasters
- Events beyond our reasonable control
Acceptable Use
Please don't use our service to:
- Store illegal content
- Violate others' intellectual property
- Distribute malware or viruses
- Resell or redistribute storage without permission
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Privacy
- We collect only what we need to provide the service (name, email, payment info)
- We don't sell your information
- We don't access your backed-up files
- We comply with applicable data protection laws

Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
Governing Law
This agreement is between you and Short Stack Cloud Services LLC, doing business as CorgiCloud. It is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any disputes will be resolved in Cleveland County, Oklahoma courts.
